About Our Cases:
About the Project
At the Perfetti Van Melle factory, Reditech developed the control software for the wastewater treatment plant, responsible for treating the discharged effluent. The scope included engineering, panel construction, software, and operational screens.
Challenge
The plant needed a system capable of:
- collecting and pre-treating industrial effluents
- controlling anaerobic and aerobic stages
- integrating MBR technology for high filtration efficiency
- safely managing biogas production and combustion
- providing complete visualization and intuitive operation
- being fully tested, validated, and commissioned
Our Contribution:
Engineering & Automation:
- Electrical design in Eplan
- Assembly of automation and MCC panels
- Supply of licenses for operational and engineering stations
- Development of all operational screens (HMI)
Process Automation:
Reditech automated the entire WWTP, including:
- Anaerobic Line
- EGSB Reactor
- Effluent conditioning and equalization
- Aerobic Line
- Activated sludge system + MBR
- Return pumps, transfer pumps, and CIP tanks
Pre-Treatment:
- Effluent pumping stations
- Screens, grease, sand, and solids removal
- Pre-treatment and equalization tanks
- DAF system
Biogas Management:
- Interconnection systems
- Control of biogas production and flaring
Commissioning & Startup:
- Testing and validation of all stages
- Adjustment of pumps, flow rates, MBR operation, and chemical dosing
- System startup and handover to operation
