My education
- Bachelor in electromechanics, option automation
- Master in electromechanics
My story
“The first time I heard of Reditech was when I was walking at a job fair at my college. Because I wanted to work as an automation engineer I took home all of the leaflets of the companies who specialise in automation. Afterwards, among others, I contact Reditech. Right at the start I had a very good feeling about them. A positive working atmosphere is very important to me. A nice salary and other remunerations are a bonus, but I prefer to go home without stress. I got a job offer and started working in November 2011.”
My responsibilities
“I primarily develop SCADA-solutions. I write the software so that the interactions of the operator are interpreted correctly by the PLC’s (mechanically and electrically). It involves a lot of contact with the customer, in order to think along and offer the right solution.”
My top job
“The best part about my job is that I can see the project come to life and enjoy the result of my work. At Reditech you are always addressed as a person and you are able to approach everyone as a person, without taking the hierarchy into account.
It’s always nice to know what your colleagues are up to. Although, when working in a consultancy-based sector, it might be difficult to keep in touch. Luckily, this is more than compensated for thanks to a variety of team activities.”
